Air drying Corrosion Chamber 500 Liters Salt spray Corrosion Test Chamber involves a salt spray fog with the addition of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) gas directly into the salt spray testing chamber or cabinet. The salt spray solution is defined either by mutual agreement or by the specifications covering the material or product to be tested.

 

The (SO2) gas should be introduced into the salt spray cabinet in a manner that insures a uniform dispersion within the chamber.

 

• Ergonomic design The NaCl chambers are floor standing units with lockable wheels to allow easy and
secure repositioning. Height and reach distances provide easy access for loading and unloading coupon
samples into removeable slotted racks. An optional reinforced false floor is available to easily locate bulky
and heavy test items.
• Accessibility The NaCl chambers have an uncomplicated design that optimizes the open area to
maximize the number of test samples while providing ample room for testing large and bulky items.
• Visibility The gabled canopy consists of two distinct layers of material. The inner layer is a thick single
piece of transparent material allowing full visibility inside the chamber. The outer layer, which is removable,
is a fully insulated covering that will ensure the chamber achieves maximum operating temperature if the
chamber is located in a cool laboratory environment.
• Clean operation The combined water drain and fog vent removes the test water and fog from the
chamber to prevent salt fog escape into the test lab atmosphere when the canopy is opened.
• Long chamber life The chambers are made of marine-grade fiberglass that stands up to the relentless
attack of the corrosive test environment.
• Price These chambers are one of the most cost effective corrosion test models in the marketplace.

 


Installation Requirements

All NaCl chambers require the following:


• A clean, oil free compressed air supply to atomize the
salt water into fog.

• Either pressurized or manual de-ionized water supply
for making up the salt water solution.

• Single phase 220/240 VAC with both neutral and earth
ground.

• Connection to an exhaust vent to atmospheric pressure
and a low level waste water floor drain.

Spray System

Precautions
1, after the end of each test, the switch should open the oil-water separator, the oil water put the net, and wipe clean.
2, if a long-term test should not saturated the water put the net, in normal use, should periodically replace the water in the saturator.
3, not long-term, if re-do the test, and to deal with all the electrical supply, gas supply system to make a specific system check, after the failure to prevent the boot.
4, found dirt clogging the nozzle, remove the nozzle promptly with alcohol, xylene, or 1: 1 hydrochloric acid wash or superfine wire careful and clear, not damage the wall of the nozzle opening, so as not to affect the spray quality.
